3.6.6 More with Image Capture
In this section, we will explore more image capture options to attain publication quality graphics
  1. Bring up two-panel display, New→View Window→Map View→Two Panes
  2. Load in the Sample RUC Data data source. Show popup
  3. In the display, select the first panel. You will notice a blue outline surrounding the panel.
  4. Create a Color-Shaded Plan View display with a temperature parameter. Show popup
  5. In the display, select the second panel. You will notice a blue outline surrounding the panel.
  6. Create a Color-Shaded Plan View display with a relative humidity parameter. Show popup
  7. For both panels, View→Show→Display Scales
  8. Choose colors well suited for publication. Edit→Preferences→View tab. Set background white and the foreground to black.
  9. Capture the image via View→Capture→Image....
  10. Select "All Views" image capture

Your image is ready for publication in Science magazine.

After this exercise, switch back the foreground and background color to white and black respectively.
