3.6.1 More With Bundles
Let's do more with bundles.
- Let's only save loaded data sources
- If you don't have any data and displays, load the
workshop.xidv
bundle with the menu.
- Let's also load the Sample AVN Global grid data from the Catalogs tab.
- Select the menu item.
- Enter
justdata.xidv
as a file name.
- Uncheck
Views
and Displays
and click Save
.
- Open this bundle with the menu and check remove all displays and data.
- Let's only save the displays.
- From the field selector, create a Color-Shaded Plan View from the
temperature
field from the AVN Data Source.
- Save the bundle with the menu .
- Enter
justdisplays.xidv
as a file.
- Uncheck
Views
and Data Sources
.
- Check
Displays
.
- Click
Save
.
- Remove the displays with the menu item.
- Open the
justdisplays.xidv
bundle with the menu .
- Make sure you UNCHECK "
Remove displays and data.
"
- When we load in a bundle with only displays the IDV will prompt you for the data.
- Choose the
temperature
field from the AVN data source.
